The elephant as long represented the republican party, and the donkey the democratic party, so it is fitting that in this election day photo we find both a donkey and an elephant in voting booths and participating in the election. Humor and politics go well together, and this is definitely a humorous look at our political process. The two voting booths in the photograph have cloth curtains of red, white and blue stripes.
