Funny Tiger Hanging From A Tree Branch

A Tiger hangs from a tree branch on the side of a cliff in this funny parody of the old "hang in there baby" poster featuring a kitten hanging from, well, various things (the poster having been done in many versions). The tiger has a humorous expression of concern about his predicament. My suggested headline on this one is "Everybody Needs A Little Help Sometimes!"

Creating Funny Tiger Images

To create this funny tiger image I photographed the big cat at the Tiger Temple outside of Bangkok in Thailand. While there I also grabbed a shot of a cliff. In compositing the image with Photoshop I used a tree branch from a tree I photographed in Hawaii. The sky was one I photographed in Southern California. Creating the image was a simple matter of stripping out the various components and putting them together. The tiger was created from four different captures...the body, the head, the tail, and the lower legs. To enhance the photo i added shadows under the legs, the tree branch (while was originally a vertical tree trunk), and underneath the tiger's chin.

Tigers Photos For Advertising And Entertainment

This tiger image was made with both advertising and entertainment uses in mind. By entertainment uses I mean greeting cards, magazines, posters and so forth. To facilitate easy use for art directors and designers in both advertising and editorial media I created the image to crop easily to square, horizontal and vertical formats all of which allow for plenty of copy space. The end result is a captivating image sure to make a viewer smile and possibly even share on social media sites. If the image was to go viral that would be gravy!
