Creating A Container Ship In A Storm Image

To create this image of a container ship in a storm I began with photos of ocean waves off the coast of San Francisco. I used Photoshop to composite about ten different wave shots into the wave portion of the ocean storm. Next I added a composite of two stormy sky images I photographed in New Mexico. Next I added in an image of a container ship I photographed off the coast of Marin county, CA. Finally, I added color to the individual containers on the ship.
