Lions As Business Metaphor: A lion stands in an office.

Lions make exceptional symbols for a wide variety of traits ranging from strength and power to cunning and dominance. Lions, the King of beasts, can also portray the mastery of business. This is a particularly powerful image in that the lion looks directly into the eyes of the viewer creating a strong connection and making for a compelling visual.

Photographing Lions For Business

When I decided to photograph a lion for business imagery I contacted Bow Wow productions, animal trainers that I have worked with frequently. For a fee of $5,000.00 they brought the Lion to my studio. We ended up having about 45 minutes of his time before the trainers, there were three of them, felt the lion was getting a little too familiar. But we did get some good material to work with enabling us to make numerous business oriented lion pictures.

Lion Imagery For Use In Business

In creating this lion image for use in business I made it flexible enough to crop as vertical, horizontal or square. I also left abundant room for copy space. The image is simple and graphic making it suitable for everything from billboards to small thumbnails on the Internet.
